FAQS
What is your typical turnaround time?
It really depends on the project. For design project, typically the first draft of a design will take 5-7 business days with the remainder of the schedule dependent on the delivery date. Digital printing and film can be turned around in 3-5 days from the approval of your proof. Offset and Large Format printing typically takes 5-7 business days from proof approval. Please call us for an exact timeline once you submit your project.
Once I sign-off on a file, how long until I have the final product in my hands?
Once we receive the sign-off, the press ready file will be at the printer or on our machine within 3 business days. Offset printing typically takes 5-7 days from the printers receipt of files while digital printing can be completed within 24 hours in some cases.
Will you work with the printer or other vendor for me?
If you would like us to manage production with your vendor please let us know when we are estimating your project and we are happy to accommodate your request.
Can you provide stock photography?
Yes. Stock photography is never included in a job estimate, but if you are open to its use, we do use a variety of resources that range from $10 to $200 per image and up.
How do you schedule projects?
Projects are scheduled based on our current workload. Once your estimate is approved a project schedule is drafted to best meet your requirements.
What are your rates and how do you estimate a project?
Typically jobs are estimated on a per project basis. Hourly work beyond the estimate is billed at $90 per hour. Our minimum charge is for half an hour, or $45.
What is included in the estimate?
Depending on your needs, we will give you an estimate for Design only, Printing only or both.
What is your payment policy?
On design jobs for new clients, a 50% deposit is required to begin a project. At the completion of the project, the balance is due within 30 days. For printing, the first job is COD and terms can be discussed for future projects. For printing jobs over $1,000 a 30% deposit will be required.
What methods of payment do you accept?
Checks or cash are preferred. VISA and Mastercard are also accepted.
What is the smallest print quantity you can work with?
Pricing is better with volume, but if one piece is all you need, we can do it!
Do you have trade pricing?
Yes. Trade prices are valid for Printers, Designers, and Photographers. If you think you qualify, please call us to discuss. A resale license must be provided.
Is there anything you cannot print?
Anything that would need to run through a laser printer must be offset printed because the toner melts. We do have vendors who can provide great offset printing for our clients.
What is the quality difference between digital and offset printing?
Digital printing is faster and more cost effective up to quantities under 1000 for certain pieces. Digital printing is toner fused into paper as opposed to ink absorbing into paper with offset printing.
